Warranty Info
The base warranty for GAF shingles is the System Plus Limited Warranty, which provides coverage for 50 years from the date of installation. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, as well as damage caused by winds up to 130 mph and hail up to 2 inches in diameter.
GAF also offers a range of upgraded warranties that provide additional coverage and protection. For example, the Silver Pledge Limited Warranty covers the same types of damage as the System Plus warranty, but also includes coverage for workmanship and tear-off costs in case of a warranty claim. The Golden Pledge Limited Warranty provides the highest level of protection, covering not only materials and workmanship, but also installation by a GAF Master Elite contractor.
All GAF warranties are transferrable to subsequent owners of the property for a limited period of time, and can be extended or upgraded with certain conditions.
